The C Side Fitness Center is OPEN! Located in the former youth lounge at the C Side Recreation Center, the Fitness Center will be open Monday – Saturday with various hours. The center is open to all MWR patrons and their guests. Children over the age of 16 are allowed to use the facility as well. All patrons must check in/sign in and get a pass prior to using the fitness center. There is no charge for the pass. Passes can be picked up from the Information Desk Monday – Friday from 8:30 am – 4p or from the Bowling Center Desk Wednesday – Saturday from 4pm – 9pm. The room is air conditioned and has a nice view of the woods!
The C Side Fitness Center is equipped with two treadmills, two elliptical machines and two stationary bikes. In addition to this equipment you will find a brand new fitness on demand system, WellBeats. Dozens of class formats are available including yoga/Pilates, cycling, kickboxing, step, dance, metabolic conditioning, strength training, pre/post natal, active aging, youth and more! 20, 35 and 50 minute classes. Step platforms, exercise mats, and free weights up to 25lbs each have been added to our gym. Added 4 new 2×6 ft connecting mats with firm foam. Great for stretching, yoga or other floor exercises. Mats can be connected together to form larger mat if necessary. Pick what’s right for you. Give it a try! It’s a lot of fun!
